    State of Ohio Department of Insurance Requirements
  • Licensees are required to complete 20 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • Licensees must complete c.e. by December 31 of the year their license is to expire.
  • Exams are non-monitored with Affidavit of Personal Responsibility form completed and signed by the student.
  • Courses are Intermediate Level.
  • Courses are repeatable every renewal cycle.
  • Excess credit hours may not be carried forward to the next reporting period.
  • Course provider is responsible for reporting course completion to Sircon with $1/credit processing fee.

    • After completing and submitting exam online, a downloadable version of the Affidavit of Personal Responsibility form must be printed out from the computer which the exam was taken and signed.
